The Lindt & Sprüngli 2030 Sustainability Plan outlines our targets and the corresponding metrics to track the Group’s progress regarding its sustainability performance.

Selected Actions

² At Lindt & Sprüngli, Good Farming Practices may include Good Agricultural Practices (as defined by the Food and Agriculture Organization), agroforestry, production efficiency, and diversified farm systems. The comprehensive definition can be found in our latest Sustainability Statement.

³ A CLMRS aims to identify children in, or at risk of child labor, to provide ongoing guidance, and to support improving their situation and to follow their progress over time.

⁴ Agroforestry combines cocoa with trees and other crops to create a diverse farming system which can improve plant health, as diseases typical of monocultures cannot spread as easily. Larger shade trees also protect the sensitive cocoa plants from too much sun, which can lead to better yields.

⁵ We classify a material as recyclable if a collection, sorting, and recycling infrastructure using state-of-the-art technology is available on an industrial scale. We do not control whether packaging is ultimately recycled and make no representation in that regard.
